An informally managed walking group in Adelaide, South Australia.
We have no elected officers and no fees. All functions of the group are performed on a voluntary basis.
The group commenced walking on Friday 12th March 2021 and evolved following the cessation of the long operating (approximately 40 years) organisation, "Walking for Fitness and Pleasure" and in particular the Friday Group 8.
This group walks on Fridays from March to late November, commencing at 10:00 am.
Walks are up to 2.5 hours in duration and can include bush tracks that are not paved.
Where possible, a shorter walk option may be offered as part of the main walk.
Walks are at a different location each week, mostly in the Adelaide Hills, somewhere between Elizabeth and Willunga.
Walks are planned and led by volunteers, either an individual member or several members.

Walkers should use the 'Contact Us' Form on this website to provide their contact details plus details of an emergency contact person.
Critical medication should always be carried.
After the walk we socialise and enjoy a packed lunch (self catered).
Bring your lunch a thermos/drink and a chair.
If the temperature forecasted at 7.00am, for Adelaide or the City, on the walking day is to be 34º or over, the walk will be cancelled.
No walks will be conducted on declared Fire Ban Days in any of the following Districts:
Adelaide Metropolitan.
Mt Lofty Ranges.
Alterations.
The website home page will have a Popup message giving details of any alteration for the next walk.
For very short notice changes, a TEXT message will be sent to notify cancellation or alteration of a walk before 8:00 am on the walk day.
